Ren is your local NDIS Plan Management representative for Adelaide, and has a background in disability and training sectors for over 12 years, working for both not-for-profit and government organisations. Ren holds qualifications in Master of Business Administration, Advance Diploma in Community Sector Management, and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
Ren has a genuine interest in assisting participants to build their individual capacity to have full choice and control over their daily life. And to work on their goals through engagement with supports and services, along with inclusion within their local communities. Ren’s experience with the NDIS and in Support Coordination means he has a well rounded knowledge in all facets of NDIS funding, something he is happy to share with NDIS clients in the Adelaide region.
Your local NDIS Plan Management Albany region representative is Debbie Blanchette. Deb holds a Cert I & II in Health and Wellness Coaching.
Debbie has 25+ years experience working in the disability sector, including more recently with the NDIS . Her primary focus is on ensuring individuals have full choice and control in all aspects of their life, and in making the NDIS plan management process as simple as possible.
Your local NDIS Plan Management representative for Ballina, Byron Bay & Lismore regions is Katie Dillon FNTP, Dip. Soc.Sci.
Katie has had a career change to Wellness and Health from Banking & Insurance. She is a health coach and operates a nutrition clinic in Ballina. Katie is dedicated to making the NDIS plan management process as simple and effective as possible – allowing clients to live their best lives with as much independence as possible. Born and raised in Ballina and having lived in both Byron Bay & Lismore, Katie has a plethora of local knowledge and contacts.
Natalie has a Diploma of Community Services and a Diploma of Business, and her professional experience includes over 20 years in Business Development. Natalie’s more recent experience resulted in a move into the Community Services area working as a Support Coordinator.
Natalie has a passion for advocating for people with disability to allow them choice and control and has personal experience with supporting a family member with disability. Natalie’s goals are to provide support and advice to NDIS participants and their families to understand the NDIS and get the most out of their plans.
Diane has worked in various industries including Banking and Retail Management. She has also previously worked with the Western Australian Department of Human Services.
Diane is a Mother/Carer to a special needs 6-year-old son therefore can relate to the challenges and stresses faced by NDIS recipients. Her extensive NDIS Plan Management knowledge and contacts in the local area are of considerable benefit to her clients.
Kylie’s qualifications include a Cert 111 in Community Services Disability Work; Studying Bachelor of Food and Nutrition.
She has been working in the Disability sector for over twenty-eight years due to having children born with disabilities. In addition, Kylie has also worked to help raise funds for many community services and different disabilities.
Megan is a Registered Nurse of 4 years. She has a particular interest in palliative care and is currently working in a Hospice and a Community Palliative Care Team. Prior to nursing, Megan was an aged care worker for 4 years. Alongside her Nursing degree she holds Certificates III and IV in aged care.
Meg is very passionate about helping people and has both knowledge and compassion when it comes to the challenges that people with a disability face. She is committed to supporting and empowering people with all the support they may need to live comfortably in their homes.
Sophie is your local NDIS Plan Management Representative for the ACT. She has a strong background in business, marketing and customer service.
After living abroad for almost a decade, she has returned to Australia and settled in Canberra. Sophie is new to the disability sector, but is passionate about helping people and giving a personal touch to her work. Sophie really enjoys getting to know her clients and doing her best to find the right tools to assist them improve their life and reach their goals.
Susan has a background in financial planning and banking, having managed her own practice. Her professional experience also includes over ten years in the Disability sector.
Susan was instrumental in supporting her husband, who successfully managed a respite and care home. This experience ignited Susan’s passion towards the protection and betterment of vulnerable persons, including those receiving NDIS funding.
Having lived in the Dandenong Ranges for 11 years, Rebecca’s professional background includes working as a Registered Nurse in the community and at a local Medical Centre.
Rebecca has lived experience with the NDIS – personally managing NDIS funding for two members of her household. Her goal is to make the NDIS plan management process as easy as possible so that her clients can spend more time reaching their goals.
Our NDIS Plan Management Devonport representative is Sarah Stephenson. Sarah is a certified Business Administrator and also holds a Diploma in Exercise Physiology.
In addition, she is a mother of a disabled son. This has provided Sarah with the opportunity to gain personal knowledge of the NDIS . Due to her son’s age, this process has been with the Early Childhood Early Intervention. Sarah enjoys being an advocate for people living with disabilities.
As our NDIS Plan Management Dubbo representative, Priscilla has a Certificate III in Accounts and Administration.
Priscilla’s career began in aged care where she worked for 4.5 years in a high care facility during which time she completed traineeships in Certificate III then Certificate IV in Aged Care. She also has experience in administration and retail. Priscilla has lived in Dubbo for over 19 years and has a great understanding of disabilities and their impact on all aspects of a person’s life.
Your local NDIS Plan Management representative in Gippsland is Peita Marshall. Peita has lived in the Gippsland region for the majority of her life.
Peita has 20 years experience in business management and bookeeping and has also completed a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. She has also operated her own retail business for the past 15 years.
Debora Maiore is our Glass House Mountains representative. Although based on the Sunshine Coast she works with many clients across Australia. Her qualifications include a Certificate III in Business Administration.
Deb has extensive experience in both administration and accounting roles, having worked in local government, the private sector and community groups. With her considerable NDIS knowledge she is often the first point of contact for our NDIS clients and providers.
Vicki has spent 30 years working in recruitment which included running her own recruitment company. She has worked with the Spinal Injuries Association and Workforce Australia to assist people with a disability or who are disadvantaged to help them find meaningful work.
Vicki’s impressive organisational skills, natural compassion and energy make her a great advocate for helping NDIS participants.
In addition to her administration qualifications, Lisa is a highly active volunteer in her local community. She has considerable “coal face” experience with disability. Not only does Lisa have close family on the NDIS she also has friends with mental and physical challenges. Lisa also provided in-home care for her mother and uncle over a two-year period.
As our NDIS Plan Management Gympie representative Lisa has built a vast network of contacts in the area and is well placed to support Plan Management clients in Gympie and the greater Wide Bay Region.
Claire comes from a background of administration and disability support work and has recently completed studies in Certificate III Disability and Diploma of Auslan.
With a strong focus on accessibility and advocacy, Claire’s goal is to use her skills in Auslan to give people who are deaf/hard of hearing, easier access to their plan manager. Based in Tasmania, she brings in-depth knowledge from a lifetime of adversity and life experiences. With a desire to make a real impact in the disability sector, Claire’s approach is one where she will ‘personalise’ over ‘professionalise’ her work, making her an understanding and down-to-earth person to speak with.
Bryce brings to Capital Guardians almost 30 years experience in customer-focused roles (predominantly management) across both the retail and hospitality industries. His professional experience includes most recently having managed a Harvey Norman franchise in Hobart. Bryce is well versed in sales, customer service, people management and financial management.
Bryce’s desire to work in the disability sector has in part been driven by his enjoyment of dealing with people from all walks of life, coupled with a strong desire to have a positive impact on those he comes into contact with. Skills that he has been able to seamlessly transfer into his role as a plan management representative covering Hobart and greater Tasmania.
NDIS Plan Management in the Hunter Region is represented by Merv Sayers. Merv holds a Bachelor of Economics and various Quality Auditor qualifications. He has over 40 years experience in customer service as well as business management and sales positions.
Prior to joining Capital Guardians, Merv held various roles with Local, National and International Companies including BHP. He has also founded and managed a range of businesses in the Hunter Valley region at Port Stephens, Raymond Terrace, and Newcastle. With his extensive background in industry and passion for helping clients and suppliers achieve their goals Merv is well-positioned to make a positive impact on the lives of people in the Hunter Valley/New England area.
NDIS Plan Management in the Mackay region is represented by Terri Lawrence, Dip H.C, Dip A.Ag, Dip M.H, Dip P.Th. Terri has lived in Mackay for 12 years and during this time has studied Holistic health and wellbeing and also studied in the area of psychotherapy/counselling.
Terri has had an extensive career in operations and supervisory roles in the transport and logistics sector, more recently having worked for Endeavour Foundation as a warehouse team leader. She has also been a successful small business owner.
NDIS Plan Management in Newcastle/Hunter Region is represented by Chelsea Robinson. Chelsea holds a Masters of Commerce ( Financial Planning), GradCert Com(FP), Dip FP, JP and Aged Care Specialist Accreditation. She has been a Financial Adviser for the past 10 years, the last 5 years specialising in Aged Care and Centrelink.
During her time in the Financial Planning industry Chelsea developed a passion for the Aged Care and Disability sectors. She understands how difficult it can be for families to get the support and advice they need and to understand the services that are available to them, so looks forward to assisting NDIS recipients in the local area get the most from their plans.
Sharyn Ditcham is our NDIS Perth representative. Sharyn’s professional experience includes working in the Banking sector for over a decade, several years building her family-owned staff agency in the health industry, and customer service roles within the legal industry.
More recently, Sharyn has developed an active interest in advocacy and community inclusion while self-managing complex disabilities for her son and uncle and is a representative on her son’s Educational Support School council and P&C Treasurer.
Patricia is our NDIS Plan Management representative in Rockhampton, Yeppoon and greater Capricorn Coast Region. Her qualifications include a Cert 1V in Aged Care, Training and Workplace Assessment, Diploma in Business, NDIS orientation for workers, Infection Control Covid-19, and is IT qualified. In addition, she has experience in MYOB and QuickBooks.
Patricia has experience and knowledge in working as a support worker and coordinator for NDIS participants. She believes that understanding the NDIS entitlements made available to them by the government is paramount to their health and happiness, and to each participate being able to get the most out of their funding.
Your local NDIS Plan Management representative Shoalhaven is Karen Denny. Karen’s involvement in the community services sector has spanned thirty-five years including as a parent, a worker, a manager, a teacher in the areas of Disability, Aged Care, and Community Development.
Karen’s qualifications and experience include NDIS orientation for workers, managing consumer-directed care, knowledge of Dementia, Bachelor of Social Science- Community Services, Social impact assessment and to access appraisals to buildings. Also, cultural diversity and indigenous studies, Diploma in Disabilities, and Diploma in Community Services.
NDIS Plan Management Wollongong is represented by Paula Jackson. Paula holds a Bachelor Degree in Teaching.
Paula has twenty-five years’ experience in managerial roles and in providing care for people of all ages. Currently, within her teaching career spanning 17 years, she has gained considerable experience working with children and adolescents with varying levels of disability. She also cares for her mother who has dementia.
Travis is our Yarra Ranges and Melbourne Outer East representative. He has a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and over 13 years working in the disability sector. Travis has experience in the NDIS including; management, client intake, support coordination, positive behaviour support, quality and resolutions, risk management and restrictive practices.
Travis also has many years experience working on the ground as a disability support worker supporting people and their families living with many different types of disabilities. He understands the NDIS system and processes can be an overwhelming experience for participants and is committed to removing any barriers towards the fulfillment of their goals.
